
What drives my work?
My research interests and professional work center on quantitative research methods and statistics, including structural equation modeling, longitudinal and multilevel modeling, mixture modeling, machine learning, social network analysis, and other advanced analytic techniques.
What is my experience?
Before joining Fig, I was a methodologist in the VCU School of Education’s Office of Research and Faculty Development, providing consultation to faculty and graduate students on publications and grant proposals. An active scholar, I have co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented at national and international conferences. My substantive research areas include educational motivational studies and the social and emotional development of young children.
What is my education?
I earned her Master’s in Applied Linguistics and Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Texas Tech University. I have also held postdoctoral research positions at the University of Houston and worked with the Consortium for Family Strengthening Research.
