Thriving Students & Educators

Promoting organizational wellbeing and student success

How do we help all schools thrive?

Fig Education evaluates how well a school or youth-serving organization fosters student and staff success.

Grounded in motivation theory, we help organizations identify how policies, programs, and strategies - inside and outside the classroom - support student and staff wellbeing and school success. We tailor our model to your community so it captures the needs of your students and staff.

Student reading and math outcomes are at historic lows.

Adolescent mental health has been on the decline for ten years.

The teaching profession has low rates of satisfaction and high rates of burnout.

What is unique about
Fig’s student and staff surveys?

Surveys that capture school climate can guide continuous improvement in schools, but they do not always measure what research identifies as best supporting student learning and teacher success.

Our proprietary student and staff surveys are not your typical school climate surveys! We use motivation theory to understand student and staff perception of how well the organizational climate meets learning and wellbeing needs. When a person perceives that their psychological needs are met, they experience wellbeing, engagement, and success. Perception surveys are the best way to gather this type of information.
